Creandum expands in Berlin
Today, Creandum is excited to announce the addition of three exceptional new team members to the office in Berlin. With Ines Streimelweger, Julian Collin and Anne Noack we have found three personalities who each play to the strength of the firm, and help grow the team in skillset at the same time.
With Distribusion, Comtravo, Taxfix, Billie, Careship, Cargo.One, and 8Fit — as well as a range of undisclosed deals — Creandum has been actively investing in Germany over the last three years. Creandum V — a $300 million Series Seed and Series A fund — will allow Creandum to be even more active in the region. We are excited to expand the team in Germany and to welcome more companies in the DACH region to the Creandum family. Ines, Julian, and Anne will be a vital part of Creandum’s activities in this ecosystem.
Ines Streimelweger joins Creandum from BCG Digital Ventures, where she was Chief of Staff to the Global MD and Senior Venture Architect. Prior to that, Ines worked as the Assistant to the Board of Rocket Internet in Berlin, post IPO. Before her stint with Rocket, she gained valuable experience at both Mars and Goldman Sachs.
Ines graduated from Nottingham and the London School of Economics with an exchange facilitated by Harvard. Ines grew up in Austria.
We met Julian Collin during his internship at Creandum in the Spring of 2019. Given his prior experience at ZEB, Deutsche Bank, Bain, and McKinsey, Julian quickly worked on multiple deals during his time with us. Promoting Julian to Analyst was a natural development after the impact he made during his internship.
Not only does Julian master excel like few of us do, but his tenure as an MMA fighter make us feel very safe around him, too.
Julian graduated from Frankfurt School of Finance with a stint in Sydney. He grew up in Germany and England.
Anne Noack joins Creandum as our Executive Assistant between Berlin and Stockholm. Anne enables all of us to work better and smarter — while thinking about which things might get lost in the hectic rush of everyday venture capital.
She experienced the challenges of start-up life first hand during her time at Casper and Deals.com, after spending time at Boston Consulting Group in Berlin.
Anne grew up in Berlin — which makes her the only true Berliner in our team.
With the addition of Ines, Julian, and Anne the team in Berlin grows to five people. Creandum is excited to have found three amazing individuals who will help us build out the Creandum Family across Europe and the US. Creandum’s team now spans 19 people across the three offices in Stockholm, Berlin, and San Francisco.
